Regional funding programmes for heat pumps in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern 2024
Mecklenburg-Vorpommern offers various funding programmes for the installation and use of heat pumps. These programmes aim to promote the use of renewable energies and increase energy efficiency.
Climate protection projects in non-profit organisations
This programme offers non-repayable grants for measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, such as the use of renewable energies and sustainable heat generation. Organisations without commercial activity are eligible for funding, including associations and foundations, for example. The grant can amount to up to 50 % of the eligible expenditure, in exceptional cases up to 80 %. Funding requires a minimum investment of €20,000.

It promotes measures that sustainably increase the utility value of the property, improve living conditions, save energy and water, reduce CO2 emissions and enable accessibility. Owners of rented flats, cooperative flats or owner-occupied residential property are eligible for funding.
Renewable energy supply for municipalities in rural areas
This programme supports municipalities in rural areas in implementing renewable energies for heating and cooling. Investment measures for the use of renewable energies are subsidised, including heat pumps. The grant amounts to up to 67.5 % of eligible expenditure for investment measures and up to 75 % for studies. Projects by municipalities and municipal associations are eligible for funding.
