Funding programmes made easy: clear information, simply explained
In 2024, the Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW) is offering attractive subsidies for the installation and use of heat pumps. These subsidies are part of the German government's efforts to promote the use of renewable energies in residential buildings and support the transition to more environmentally friendly and energy-efficient heating technology. The KfW loans and grants are aimed at helping homeowners to finance heat pump systems in order to increase energy efficiency and reduce CO2 emissions. These programmes are available for both renovations of existing buildings and new builds and offer attractive conditions, such as low-interest loans and high repayment grants. Funding is dependent on various factors, including the efficiency of the installed systems and the fulfilment of certain technical requirements.
Replace heating now, submit subsidy application later!
You can already renew your heating system now and do not have to submit the funding application to KfW immediately. The new heating subsidy will start on 27 February 2024, but there is a transitional arrangement: If you install a new heating system by 31 August 2024, you can submit the funding application by 30 November 2024. This allows you to plan flexibly and still secure funding!
