Everything about the third funding round of the Heating Act

The third funding round of the Heating Act has started and offers attractive subsidies for switching to climate-friendly heat pumps. Homeowners, flat owners and even local authorities can benefit from state subsidies of between 30 and 70 per cent. Applications can be submitted immediately via the KfW customer portal, with 36 months left for installation after approval.

Heat pumps more cost-effective than gas heating systems

A study by Fraunhofer ISE for the Ariadne project has shown that heat pumps in detached houses and apartment blocks are more economical in the long term than new gas heating systems. This applies regardless of the energy standard of the building and takes into account various heating technologies, including the CO2 price.
