Now the new phase of promotion begins

BEG subsidy (federal subsidy for efficient buildings) will also be opened up to the housing industry and private owners of single-family homes from the end of August.

Airwende Umwelttechnik GmbH's products based on renewable energy sources cover the entire spectrum of required heat pumps, from single-family homes and multi-storey residential buildings to industrial properties. Available are air/water heat pumps from the R290 and R32 series, which offer convincing, subsidisable concepts for heat supply in both renovation and new build projects. Several of the company's product series provide energy-saving and convenient solutions in small to medium-sized buildings all year round.

Since the end of February, owners of owner-occupied single-family homes and, since the end of May, owners of privately rented apartment blocks and homeowners' associations (for measures on jointly owned property) have been able to apply for funding for heat generators under the current BEG. Initial feedback shows a continuing high level of interest in the refurbishment of heating systems that use fossil fuels. Specialist tradespeople should take advantage of this development and keep an eye on the market-relevant dates for approaching customers.

From the end of August, the BEG subsidy is also expected to be opened up to apartment blocks that are commercially let and therefore to the housing industry. Experts then expect a significant increase in demand for both centralised and decentralised heat supply systems. In addition to commercial and municipal building owners, this will also affect private owners of rented single-family homes.

The "Supplementary loan" programme for commercial applicants is also to be made available at this time. The KfW's low-interest supplementary loan is already available for private applicants. Anyone who starts their heating renovation in accordance with the minimum technical requirements between 29 December 2023 and 31 August 2024 can even submit the BEG EM application retrospectively until 30 November 2024.

The possibility of authorising parties involved in construction, such as specialist planners and tradespeople, to complete certain areas of the BEG application directly on behalf of the client is currently being discussed. The aim is to simplify the application process for commercial or industrial projects in which third parties are also significantly involved.
